Configuring a PC part by part is where most stores lose the buyer: either they let you build something that does not fit, or they hide the incompatibilities until checkout. The job was to turn that uncertainty, the number one reason not to buy, into the sales argument.
We built a configurator around a compatibility rule engine that recomputes in the browser as you choose, scores every configuration with a Build Score and blocks what cannot work. Around it, the store: prebuilts, Affirm financing, reviews restricted to verified purchases and the signed Proof of Build for each machine.

What happened to dARc after launch
