Configuring a PC part by part is where most stores lose the buyer: either they let you build something that does not fit, or they hide the incompatibilities until checkout. The job was to turn that uncertainty — the number one reason not to buy — into the sales argument.
We built a configurator around a compatibility rule engine that recomputes in the browser as you choose, scores every configuration with a Build Score and blocks what cannot work. Around it, the store: prebuilts, Affirm financing, reviews restricted to verified purchases and the signed Proof of Build for each machine.
